After releasing the title track, as well as the music video for “Rock ‘N’ Roll,” Taylor Bennett is finally delivering his highly anticipated EP titled Be Yourself, the follow-up to last year’s Restoration Of An American Idol. Spanning six tracks, the project features assistance from Young Thug, Bianca Shaw, Supa BWE and Zxxc.

The intimate project finds Bennett diving deep into issues like social and financial inequality, mass incarceration, injustice and honesty. The Chicago native made the following statement about the EP in a press release:

“No one is innocent in this conversation & no group of people are at fault for the flaws in Our society but as a unit we are judged by the choices & systems we design to upheld Power & Capital amongst certain communities based upon skin color, sexuality , gender & Above. Im not saying Be Black, Be Gay Or Be Different I’m Just saying ‘Be Yourself…'”

Be Yourself is out now on SoundCloud and Spotify, and will be coming to all major streaming services on July 13.
