It’s no secret that a Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 6 exists, as the Houston rapper himself wore a pair during his NFL Super Bowl halftime show earlier this year. While both Scott’s camp and Nike’s Jordan Brand have remained tight-lipped about any potential drop, leak accounts are now reporting that a drop is scheduled for sometime in September. The exact date being touted is September 14, which is in line with earlier rumors that we would be seeing a summer release.
Previously, we were given a closer look at what could be the retail version thanks to the leaked images above. The shots show slight differences from the pair Scott wore in February, most notably the red embroidered branding on both heels, which was originally black, and what looks to be a glow-in-the-dark outsole.
An olive nubuck upper features black, infrared, and reflective detailing, as well as a frayed tongue and stash pocket at the ankle. The stash pocket, a new addition to the Air Jordan 6, was seen previously on Scott’s reverse-Swooshed Air Jordan 1.
Check out the Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 6 above, which is rumored to drop later this summer for around $250, and stay tuned for further information.
