Morocco’s Villa K is a product of French architects Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty from Studio KO. Reflecting the rugged landscape, rough-hewn qualities are sewn into the structure, which is carefully shaped in a geometric alignment and then covered in clay as to blend in with the nearby Atlas mountains. Earth tones continue into the deceivingly modern interior of the residence to create a monochromatic effect throughout, while the use of select metal and wood slats is also noticeable. The premises also includes a swimming pool that seems to sit in the center of the house, as well as an apt selection of geometrically inclined furnishings to complete the theme.
