Following a look at sketches, Louis Vuitton‘s Head of Design Men’s Footwear, Mathias Patillon, gives us a first peek at Virgil Abloh's debut sneaker with the luxury fashion house.

Previously described by Abloh as “what I think […] is a classic sneaker,” the designer also revealed that he wants to “make it feel more rich” by adding touches of gold or porcelain.

As you can see, the retro-flavored silhouette boasts a noticeably heightened design, with an ankle strap, here showcased in black and silver. The soles then bear enlarged “VUITTON” branding.

In addition to the reveal from Patillon, A$AP Rocky has been spotted wearing the shoe in Paris.

For now, this is all we have on Virgil Abloh's first Louis Vuitton sneaker, but as always, check back with us for more.

Next, see what Skepta, Playboi Carti, Takashi Murakami, and others wore to Virgil Abloh's OFF-WHITE SS19 show in pairs.
