Apple's new watchOS 4 update for Apple Watch is bringing new Siri watch face displays, smart activity coaching and a revamped music experience, all coming this fall. The Siri watch face displays will in turn provide you with the most relevant information throughout the day.
GymKit accounts for Apple Watch's new workout app, a groundbreaking technology platform that will offer users connected workouts with cardio equipment.
“Apple Watch is the ultimate device for a healthy life and is now more intelligent than ever with watchOS 4,” said Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer. “We’ve created a truly individualized experience with the smartest Activity and Workout apps, the Siri watch face that shows you the information you need when you need it and we’re seamlessly bringing users their favorite music right on the wrist.”
Now thanks to the aforementioned Siri watch displays, with each raise of the wrist, the information on the display dynamically updates based on the time of day, daily routines and pertinent data from apps such as Activity, Alarms, Breathe, Calendar, Maps, Reminders and Wallet. Headlines from the new Apple News app will be at your disposal as well.
Additionally, watchOS 4 users can make and receive person to person payments with friends and family with Apple Pay within Messages or using Siri. When users get paid, they receive the money in their new Apple Pay Cash account and can use it instantly, or transfer it to their bank account.
The Activity app then delivers intelligent coaching and tailored encouragement to help you close Activity Rings more and achieve longer success streaks, as you'll also be given unique monthly challenges designed for your workout goals specifically.
The redesigned Music app will automatically sync your New Music Mix, Favorites Mix and most listened to music.
From a stylistic standpoint, new Toy Story watch faces including Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear bring your favorite Pixar characters to life, while the kaleidoscope watch face turns static images into mesmerizing patterns.
