Instagram continues to surge as today’s premiere social media network, having surpassed 400 million users in late September 2015. Of course, your feed is only as good as who you follow, meaning a strong set of accounts is paramount in getting the most out of Instagram. Whether you’re looking for inspiration or simply eye candy, IG is packed with incredible imagery from all over the world.

Continuing our 5 Instagram Accounts to Follow this Week feature, Highsnobiety’s Will Nichols and Pete Williams chose another five of their favorite personalities on Instagram. Follows:@shot_by_ian. His work speaks for itself. I also like how he incorporates skateboarding into his feed, since I discovered photography through skating.

Favorite Place to Shoot: NYC has been my favorite place so far. I explored around 20 hours per day when I visited there. Never a dull moment.

Footwear of Choice:Nike Lunar Air Force 1 Duckboot – great for winter.

Follows: One of my favorite Instagram accounts that I currently follow would be @bshigeta. I like the fact this user is always on the go, snapping pics from various locations from around the globe. I find that very inspiring. Along with that, this user is also always testing out new camera gear which furthers my camera knowledge with a simple follow.

Favorite Place to Shoot: Ideally I like to shoot anywhere with natural lighting. Since I like having a subject when I shoot I feel natural lighting shows the best details and highlights on that subject.

Footwear of Choice: You can usually catch me in a pair of New Balance 998s. Very comfortable sneaker and the design is also sleek.

Follows: My love of light and my nostalgia for Hong Kong forces me to say @edwardkb.

Favorite Place to Shoot: Large Asian cities. The chaos, architecture, markets, vibes and unique visual identities of each place are extremely stimulating and inspiring; Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Phnom Penh or any other.

Footwear of Choice: Winter camping slippers: hot and cozy, plus they look like astronaut boots.

Follows: It’s hard to narrow down since there are a number of feeds that inspire me in different ways, but I currently can’t get enough of @theresbianca. The quiet confidence of her aesthetic and the creativity of her subject matter constantly motivate me to reconsider my own shots.

Favorite Place to Shoot: Anywhere new to be completely honest. An explorer at heart, I’m not one to take shots in the same place twice. But give me a natural landscape over a concrete one any time.

Footwear of Choice: Nike Roshe for walking, Nike LunarGlide 7 for running.
