In commemoration of their first fragrance, KENZO’s artistic directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have tapped the legendary Spike Jonze to direct a new film starring Margaret Qualley. Dubbed KENZO World, the aesthetic portrays a world that celebrates freedom of expression, diversity and creativity, true to the KENZO spirit.

The actress and former dancer can be seen moving with the spirits that are possessing her, while embodying the irreverent chic and quirkiness of KENZO. Qualley is in turn wearing a flamboyant green dress designed by Lim and Leon, as she exudes pure elegance while moving to a diabolical tempo.

The music for the production is “Mutant Brain” by Sam Spiegel and Ape Drums, while Ryan Heffington was in charge of the choreography.

After watching the Spike Jonze-directed film, be sure to take a look at KENZO and H&M’s forthcoming collaboration.

Not NYC, not LA.
