“When I die bury me inside the Gucci head office,” might not have the same ring to it, nor make any musical sense syllabically, but even still, it’s easy to imagine 2 Chainz being content with the fashion giant’s new Milan HQ as a final resting place such is its unbridled majesty.

After restoring the historic Caproni aeronautical factory structure — originally built in 1915 — over a three-year period, the new ‘Gucci Hub’ houses over 250 employees and amalgamates offices, worldwide showrooms, a fashion show venue and graphics and photo studios. A 2,000 square foot runway venue has also been incorporated which will play host to Gucci’s fashion show’s from 2017 onwards.

Speaking of the new venue, Gucci CEO and President Marco Bizzarri said:

Our Milan location, which we have named the Gucci Hub – as it will be where we welcome buyers and press from around the world each season – now joins our two other centers of excellence in Italy. Our Florence headquarters with over 1,300 employees, remains the heart of our historic brand and is the centre of excellence for Gucci’s renowned craftsmanship and manufacturing, while our Rome-based design office represents the centre of excellence for the company’s groundbreaking creativity.

In additional Gucci news, British thespian Tom Hiddleston can be seen looking sharp as a tack for the brand’s Cruise 2017 selection of tailoring.
