Yohji Yamamoto and Y-3 has been killing it throughout 2016, and the high-fashion collective is showing no signs of slowing down even as the year enters its final stretch. We’ve already seen the brand turn their hand to a pair of zip-entry sneakers back in the spring, and now they return with another model from similar stock: the X-Ray Zip Low BOOST.

As of any Y-3 design, the silhouette is featured in core black and comes with a layered design and textured finish to mimic a 3D effect. Neoprene materials are used on the upper, with adidas’ BOOST responsive midsole also deployed to ensure maximum comfort. A three-striped elastic band also features on the heel, with the Y-3 logo then embossed on either side.
