In light of NikeLab’s brand new Chicago retail space, we teamed up with four of the city’s biggest tastemakers for an exclusive editorial using key pieces from the imprint’s highly anticipated ACG Holiday 2016 collection.
Featuring radio personality Tone Kapone, restaurant mogul and producer Billy Dec, local streetwear maestro Joe Freshgoods, and fitness trainer Erica Robinson, the spread highlights the line’s function-meets-street aesthetic using the Windy City’s urban landscape and temperamental climate as a canvas.
Removable hoods and adjustable strap systems included in NikeLab ACG’s outerwear assist the wearer in adapting to any given environment, making the transition from indoor to outdoor seamless. The Zoom Tallac Flyknit sneaker, which merges the durability of a hiking boot with the traction and buoyancy of a lightweight trail-running shoe, serves as a stout opponent to Chicago’s notoriously harsh elements, while the collection’s Woven and Cargo Pants offer deep storage via curved pockets and water-resistance by using DWR-coated fabric.
Get up close and personal with NikeLab’s ACG Holiday 2016 collection above and take a peep inside Chicago’s NikeLab store, which officially opens its doors today.
