Ahead of the release later this month, here we take a look at the making of Ghost in the Shell‘s one-of-a-kind, 3D-printed endoskeleton.

While chatting with Weta Workshop technician Jared Haley in the studio’s 3D modeling room, Adam Savage learned about the experimentation and prototyping necessary to make this otherworldly prop, constructed from several hundred individual pieces.
