The Lamborghini Aventador S boasts a 6.5-liter V12 engine that cranks out 730 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque. But when welcoming a new aero kit from DMC, the exotic beasts turns into just that, now offering an insane 1,588 horsepower. This allows the vehicle to travel from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 2.9 seconds, before maxing out at 217 mph.
In addition to the speed enhancements, the DMC kit also improves the power-to-weight ratio of 2.13 kg/hp, compared to the regular LP700-4.
All of this and more is accomplished thanks to carbon fiber implementation from the front splitter to the side skirts and down to the rear diffuser. The new and improved Aventador now notes a limited edition (1 of 10) Centenario-like hood as well. A new hydraulic DMC wing has also been applied, made from both carbon fiber and forged aluminum, as the driver can in turn set the wing in one of three different modes: Corsa, GT and Insane, for track, street and quarter mile applications.
