Designer: Yohji Yamamoto

Location: Paris, France

Season: Spring/Summer 2018

Key Pieces: The opening looks featured some amazing leather jackets decorated in classic paintings of sultry women, while later on Yohji dropped some staggering draped tailoring decorated in cut-and-paste newspaper cutouts in english and Japanese. Amazing.

Editor’s Notes: One of the most iconic designers in modern fashion returned to Paris to do what he does best: create amazing collections of dramatic, dreamy and just outright dope clothing. This season, Yohji was on an art tip, and many of his looks revolved around beautiful visual motifs, although his silhouettes were of course on point — flowy, drapey and mega-relaxed.
