For its latest iPhone promo, Apple has tapped French director Michel Gondry to create a short film shot entirely on an iPhone 7 Plus. As it’s a Gondry film, the short is a little surreal — it follows the adventures of a forgotten tricycle as it travels in search of its owner.

Gondry also gave us some behind-the-scenes info about the shoot, recording six different how-to videos on set. He shows us how he makes iPhone video looks so cinematic, and how to capture slo-mo, time lapse, and stop motion. He also teaches us how to use perspective tricks and how to shoot at nighttime. Watch the full short above and the tutorials below.

In other movie news, horror film Polaroid will scare you into never taking pictures.
