Here is the latest entry in our partnership with COLORS BERLIN, an online music channel that aims to break down the barriers of the musical landscape. ALL COLORS NO GENRES is their main mission – from hip-hop to indie, electronica, R&B and pop, COLORS BERLIN allows artists to present themselves and their work in a contemporary way. We’ve teamed up with them on a series of video shorts in which artists are invited to perform one of their own tracks in the COLORS studio.

While you might not be switched on to South Korean R&B, it’s better late than never. Hailing from Seoul, DEAN is making an international splash on the hip-hop scene. He’s been obsessed with American hip-hop since middle school, secretly writing songs in his room as an escape from his studies.

Since then, he’s written songs for K-pop stars and became the first Asian artist to perform at Spotify House at Austin’s SXSW Festival. Just recently, he performed in Paris, Berlin and London, where tickets for his show sold out in three minutes.

For COLORS Berlin, DEAN serves up his latest single “love” featuring none other than Highsnobiety Music favorite Syd.

Revisit DEAN’s debut EP 30 Mood : TRBL below.
