If you haven't heard of rising Australian emcee SophieGrophy yet, it's time you get educated. The Melbourne-based rapper is on one hell of a come-up this year, an ascension accelerated after dropping her EP Purpularity and making several high-profile guest appearances. Her latest feature is on house duo Walker & Royce's new track "My Own Thang," which - as her lyrics accurately describe - will literally have you "turning up all week." Take a listen below.

Speaking on the track, Sophie tells us that "Sometimes you just have to live and love every moment of living. Don’t let anybody slow you down, move at your own pace. Don’t let others words shift your focus, don’t let them determine who you are. Surround yourself with great individuals who only bring nothing but greatness into your life. If they ask you why are you different, if they ask you what are you doing, tell em MY OWN THANG."

"My Own Thing" appears on Walker & Royce's new full-length Self Help, which is out today via DIRTYBIRD. Order it here.

For more of our premieres, take a listen to this remix of Shy FX from Idris Elba (yes, that Idris Elba).
