In a since deleted Twitter spat with renowned leakers Yeezy Mafia, Stormzy had to defend his honor when the account called out his YEEZY Boost 350 V2 Beluga 2.0s for being fake.

Following heated comments back and forth, adidas’ Vice President of Global Entertainment and Influencer Marketing Jon Wexler has squashed the beef and any questions over the authenticity of Stormzy’s YEEZYs once and for all.  They’re 100% real.

Why anyone would think that one of the biggest adidas sponsored influencers would rock fake YEEZYs is beyond us. Still, Yeezy Mafia’s claims gained momentum and caused controversy online due to the account’s status as the top source for any YEEZY news outside of adidas.

Stormzy was obviously pissed as he took shots at YEEZY Mafia and ridiculed their use of the word “YEEZY experts” on both Twitter and his Instagram Stories.

Now that Wex has set the record straight we can finally move on and enjoy what is looking to be the most limited 350 YEEZY Boost V2 release yet.
