If you haven’t heard of Tim Blok, prepare to have your life changed forever. The Amsterdam-based artist performs under the moniker AKA Block. Today, we’re premiering his latest single dubbed “90’s Baby.” The Rawso-assisted track is a smooth blend of R&B and pop that drips with undeniable sex appeal. The dreamy collaboration comes fresh off AKA Block’s forthcoming mixtape drop, ripple, OCEAN. AKA Block elaborated on the inspiration behind the soulful tune in an email to Highsnobiety.

“It’s a mood board of ‘less than lover, more than friends’ between a non-couple living their best lives,” he said. “She’s an ice-cold lady with options who loves to fly too close to the sun, he is able to see that what is up, must come down but ‘now’ is not the time to be thinking about coming down.”

AKA Block’s drop, ripple, OCEAN mixtape is stacked with eight tracks and is slated to drop this winter. Don’t fight the vibe and stream this joint in full below.
