Alpha Industries and Eastpak each got their start manufacturing equipment for the US armed forces in the 1950s. Fast forward, and in the 1970s they brought their products to the consumer market. Now, the two US brands are celebrating a common military heritage with a FW19 collaboration.

Alpha Industries’ iconic military designs are translated onto signature Eastpak silhouettes, as the collection pulls inspiration from the heralded MA-1 flight jacket, originally worn by pilots and crew of the US Air Force and Navy.

Offered in green and black colorways, the Padded Pak’r is constructed from flight nylon fabric, featuring a monochrome quilted back panel, contrasting orange lining, co-branded Velcro labels, and red Alpha zipper pulls. The backpack also comes with padded shoulder straps and a padded laptop sleeve.

The Springer waist bag, also available in green and black, is crafted from durable flight nylon as well. The bag boasts contrasting stitching, bright orange lining, Velcro labels, and a red zipper pull, in addition to an adjustable waist belt and a rear zipper pocket.

Lastly, the Calum duffle is offered in black. Inspired by the original military sea sack, the bag is outfitted with a built-in laptop sleeve, multiple stash pockets, carry handles, an adjustable shoulder strap, and water-resistant zippers.

With prices ranging from $35 to $90, you can cop Alpha Industries and Eastpak’s FW19 collection beginning August 1 at select retailers and Eastpak.com.

Not NYC, not LA.
