Andres Serrano's “The Game: All Things Trump” exhibition opened this week in a former nightclub in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district. Inside, over 1000 objects related to Donald Trump are on view.

For his first multimedia installation, Serrano's created a kind of museum of Trump; cataloging his various branded merchandise, sports memorabilia, slot machines, and posters to present an unsettling portrait of the president.

In order to source this vast collection, Serrano spent years on eBay and at auction houses buying up all things Donald Trump. He even spent $2,000 on a piece of the Trump's wedding cake. The result is an ugly portrait of consumerism and egoism wrapped up in a lot of cringe-worthy memorabilia, which demonstrates that Trump's America has been a long time in the making.

The exhibition also marks the 30th anniversary of the so-called Culture Wars. While you might know Seranno from his Supreme Blood and Semen collab from 2017, it was his 1987 work, Piss Christ, that catapulted him to fame. The work became a symbol of the Culture Wars after it was shown in a government-funded gallery.
