Tragedy struck in Manchester, England last night as Ariana Grande's concert in the city was hit with what police are now calling a terrorist attack. At the time of writing, at least 22 deaths and 59 injuries have been confirmed in the reported suicide bombing, which occurred minutes after Grande finished the evening's closing set.

Manchester police responded to a "report of an explosion" at 10:35 p.m. GMT last night. A British Transportation Police report followed shortly after with the details that they had responded to "reports of an explosion within the foyer area of the stadium."

Ariana Grande was unharmed, though she released a statement expressing her shock and grief over last night's attack. Her manager, Scooter Braun, also released a statement addressing the victims.

Eyewitness accounts of the attack are continuing to emerge, with some evidence appearing on social media of concertgoers fleeing the scene. With 22 dead, this is the worst terrorist attack on British soil in more than a decade. Numerous world leaders have issued statements condemning the attack and sending condolences to those affected.

We will be updating this story as more information emerges. Anyone with direct knowledge or information on the attack can reach out to the BBC right here.
