Highsnobiety

It's the weekend, baby!

This week we've seen plenty of releases, including Stüssy x Nike's Air Force 1 Mid sneakers, a patchwork collection by Human Made, JJJJound x New Balance 990v3, Pleasures x Dr. Martens, and plenty of others.

Additionally, we launched Highsnobiety Sports, which includes plenty of fun collaborations. From Jack Wolfskin to Satisfy Running, we've got you covered whether you're hiking a mountainous trail or lounging on your sofa.

We also threw a great party in Amsterdam and launched a whole new branch there.

Elsewhere, we saw a drop from Acne Studios' FACE collection, goop's weird luxury diaper prank, logo overload with Fendace, and Burberry announcing a collaboration with Pop Trading Company.

To make sure you don't miss anything, we've rounded up this week's biggest news for you to sit down, relax, and catch up.

The Internet Is Ripping Balenciaga’s Paris Sneaker to (Further) Shreds

"Balenciaga's meme-worthy footwear often generates spirited debate, but the brand's latest creation has the internet positively distraught."

Sorry Stüssy, but These Air Force 1 Mid Customs Go Way Harder

"It's about time that we started giving custom sneaker designers their due credits and LORENZ.OG's volcanic take on the new Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1 Mid demonstrates exactly why."

Here’s What Off-White™’s Fragrance Collection Really Smells Like

"After a 45-minute-chat and a few detours, we landed on a definitive ranking of Off-White™'s fragrance collection. Here's how we got there."

Can We Please Make Cowboy Couture Happen?

"Recently, my love for cowboy boots and the whole aesthetic that comes with them has started bubbling up again, resulting in countless hours spent on eBay looking for crazy belts, bolo ties, and cowboy hats. There's just something about it that has me excited."

The TikToker Who Almost Snuck Into the Met Gala Would Like a Word With Anna Wintour

"On the first Monday in May, Brenna Lip had a blonde wig, a MacGyvered press pass, and a plan to sneak into the 2022 Met Gala. Lip, the self-described "queen of sneaking into things," built her massive TikTok following (828,000, to be exact) with seriously stealthy skill.

Young Thug’s YSL Has Nothing To Do With Yves Saint Laurent

"No, Yves Saint Laurent isn't involved in any criminal scandal (at least, not to my knowledge). On May 9, Young Thug, Gunna, and 27 others were arrested and indicted on 56 counts of suspected gang-related crimes and alleged violation of Georgia's RICO Act, better known as the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act."

adidas x Gucci Is a Three-pointer, a Hole in One, a Golden Set

"adidas x Gucci deserves all the sports-related exclamations. Such is the magnitude of the collaborative collection: it's a veritable slam dunk, a hat trick, a grand slam. Game, set, match."

Everything To Know About Yeezy Gap, From Blue Jackets to Balenciaga

"There's not much to say about YEEZY GAP Engineered by Balenciaga that hasn't already been said (and, yes, that is the entire official name and it must be said in full every time) but if you weren't already plugged-in from the start, it's pretty easy to fall off Mr. West's wild ride."
