While we're mainly used to seeing Olivier Rousteing's creations on Kim and Kanye, the designer's newest venture is a little different — dressing the ballet troupe for their “Renaissance” show at the Opéra de Paris.
Unsurprisingly, the designer's ultra-luxe work at Balmain is perfectly suited to the stage. He meticulously embellished beige bodysuits, tights and tees with rhinestones and pearls, and to top it off, the dancers wore Balmain's signature heavily embroidered jackets.
Rousteing noted that it was an "amazing honor" to work with the Opéra de Paris, saying "as someone who has always been fascinated by the beauty and power of dance, this project was a joy to work on, giving me the unique opportunity to learn from and share ideas with a group of incredibly talented artists and craftsmen for whom nothing seems to be impossible.”
Watch the outfits in action above, and if you happen to be in Paris you can catch “Renaissance” until June 18.
