Bamford Watch Department and Dr. Romanelli continue their collaborative efforts, once again working on a Popeye-specific Rolex. The last tribute to the famed sailor came in 2013, when the two worked on the heralded Yachtmaster.

This time, the grey scheme on the Yachtmaster is a tribute to the original black and white Popeye classic. Due to the subtle coloring, the focus remains on the animated character, which is pictured front and center on the face. Popeye's iconic bulging arms act as the hands for time-telling. Military Grade Titanium Coating (MGTC) has been utilized on the wristwear, making it durable and water-resistant.

Limited to 29 units, each watch comes in a custom box containing a themed spinach can that holds a commemorative cartoon strip. An accompanying can opener featuring a limited edition number is the only tool that can open the spinach.

The Dr. Romanelli x Bamford x Rolex Yachtmaster is currently available at select retailers as well as online. Retail is $31,775 USD.
