Bruno Mars has become synonymous with being "funky". This is in large part due to his feature on Mark Ronson's chart-topping mega-hit "Uptown Funk," but the singer has always had a penchant for finding the sonic sweet-spot where your booty starts shaking. But with his newest release, Mars has transcended his own funkiness. He has announced a new album titled 24K Magic, and with that information comes a decadent music video for the title track.

The video sees Mars with a constantly evolving posse partying their way through the night-lit streets and hotel hallways of Las Vegas. He becomes the living embodiment of a 24-karat lifestyle, careening from swimming pool to convertible to house party with almost preternatural ease.

Musically speaking, the track continues to explore the territories of past genres of funk that he first tapped into with "Uptown Funk." But where "Uptown Funk" is a classic, old-school joint, "24K Magic" is a reworking of the G-Funk sound that dominated the West Coast during the ‘90s. No matter what decade he's in, Mars still seems to exude the same level of funkiness. A maximal amount of funkiness.

Bruno Mars's new album 24K Magic is set to drop on November 18. Stay tuned for any further musical displays of his grandiloquence.

In other music news, Lil Yachty and Gucci Mane delivered a track titled "Bentley Coupe" with a very similar message. Listen to it right here.
