Editor’s Notes: After leaks, teasers, and Nike’s official announcement, we now take a closer look at the upcoming Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air VaporMax 2019. The on-foot shots above give you a detailed look at all angles ahead of the highly-anticipated release.

Initially, designer and DIY-er Ava Niuri, better known by her Instagram handle @avanope, shared imagery of the forthcoming collaboration on Instagram. Nike followed that up by officially confirming the sneaker’s release for May 14 in the United States and Japan, and a European release on May 16.

Alongside the standard edition above, Niuri's pair appears to be a friends and family iteration of the shoe, complete with light-up neon tubes around the midsole. The florescent detail is only fitting, as the shoe's Swoosh is rendered to appear like a neon sign. While it's difficult to discern in the images, Niuri's pair appear as though they are charged via an interior outlet.

The general Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike VaporMax dropped from SNKRS and select NikeLab retailers in the US on May 14 for $250. The European release follows today, May 16.
