Editor’s Notes: Today, Camperlab unveiled its latest footwear collection, this time under the guidance of new creative director Achilles Ion Gabriel. The new collection aims to focus on the beauty of simplicity, stripping away all unnecessary frills and letting the brand’s Mallorcan heritage and expert craftsmanship do the talking.
The collection comprises eight footwear styles, the stand-out of which is most likely the sandal, which looks to take cues from Japan’s zori sandals. Zori sandals are thonged sandals usually made of rice straw, cloth, lacquered wood, leather, or rubber.
Camperlab’s version comes in three colorways and is called the Hastalavista. It retails for €250 and is available via Camperlab’s online store now.
