Billboard’s Hot 100 music chart now has Cardi B‘s “Bodak Yellow” as the number one song in the country, overtaking Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do.”

Climbing the charts steadily since its release in June, Cardi’s team predicted that the single would eventually become the most played song in the country in a recent The New York Times profile. As Joanna Nikas reported, when Cardi asked her publicist how they would celebrate “if” the song hit the top of the charts, Cardi was corrected. “Don’t say ‘if,’” publicist, Ms. Foster said. “When.”

Additionally, “Bodak Yellow” is also the first solo woman-fronted rap single to reach the top spot since Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” back in 1998.

Now listen to Cardi B drop a fire “Bodak Yellow” remix featuring Kodak Black.
