Brand: Carhartt WIP x Brain Dead

Season: SS19

Key Pieces: The classic chore coat is made from a lightweight nylon fabric, allowing some transparency (see slide #16 ), for Brain Dead's signature designs to really pop.

Release Date: July 13

Buy: At Caliroots, other select retailers, and all Dover Street Market locations with a special installation to celebrate the collaboration.

Editor’s Notes: Carhartt has tapped West Coast label Brain Dead to bring their post-punk graphics to workwear staples. Reimagining the classic silhouettes of Carhartt's bib-overalls and carpenter pants requires a collaborator with a strong eye for graphics and lo-fi sensibilities. Brain Dead, who has been on point with their graphics since day one, is a perfect match.

To coincide with the launch, there will also be a publication titled Brain Dead Index Vol.1 featuring illustrations from a selection of renowned contemporary artists available to cop.
