Editor’s Notes: Carhartt has tapped West Coast label Brain Dead to bring their post-punk graphics to workwear staples. Reimagining the classic silhouettes of Carhartt’s bib-overalls and carpenter pants requires a collaborator with a strong eye for graphics and lo-fi sensibilities. Brain Dead, who has been on point with their graphics since day one, is a perfect match.
To coincide with the launch, there will also be a publication titled Brain Dead Index Vol.1 featuring illustrations from a selection of renowned contemporary artists available to cop.
