Chris Rock was at his longtime friend, Kanye West’s, album listening party in Wyoming earlier this week and had some powerful, impromptu words to share before the album was played for the first time.

Rock and West share a lengthy history together, most notably collaborating on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The comedian introduced Kanye, poked fun at their desolate surroundings in Wyoming, and listed, albeit comically, the who’s who that had made it out for the listening party. He even made reference to the Pusha-T versus Drake beef saying, “Pusha takin’ bodies.”

Watch Chris Rock’s speech below and then leave your thoughts on all things Kanye in the comment section following.

Kanye West’s eighth studio album is now available to stream on most platforms, some of which you can find below.
