Fashion photographer Rankin and creative director Walter Campbell have teamed up with erotic lingerie and sex toys brand Coco de Mer for a new spot entitled "X." The campaign - which features flashes of highly charged imagery for no more than seconds at a time - is meant to stimulate conversation around the taboos that are present within the fashion industry. The hope is that consumers may reconsider their stance on shock value advertisement as something that, yes, might occasionally overstep a few bounds, but contains an effective means of delivery that cannot be overlooked.
