Converse's Run Star Trainer may be new to the sneaker game, but it's already a VIP in the Swarovski Club. Following its big debut in June, the Run Star Trainer gets showered in Swarovski crystals.

Yep, the Run Star Trainer has gone luxury.

Swarovski crystals in different sizes deck out Converse's low-top sneaker, making each Run Star Trainer not only lavish but also extra special to the Converse lovers who cop.

With a new luxe vibe, Converse's Run Star naturally ditches its traditional nylon and suede construction for silky satin and velvety uppers doused in an equally rich emerald green color.

Besides the Swarovski drip, the Converse Run Star sneaker maintains the model's retro, flat-soled design inspired by Converse's archival performance shoes.

Converse visioned the Run Star Trainer as a casual sneaker that balances today's fashion tastes and all-around comfort. Its triple-layered memory foam checks the cozy box. And the shoe arrived right on time for the year's trending low-soled sneaker movement.

Unlike the regular, non-bedazzled pairs which retail for $90, the Converse Run Star Trainer with Swarovski crystals gets a $300 price tag.

If you have a couple of hundred dollars to spare, the newest Converse Run Star Train is slated to drop on December 13 on Nike's SNKRS app and Converse's website.

Pineapples on pizza? Debatable. But Swarovski crystals on sneakers? Absolutely. The jewelry company has long lent its famous crystals to sneakers brands, resulting in luxurious, crystalized Vans, Nike Air Maxes, and adidas Superstar shoes.

Converse has even dropped Swarovski crystal-covered Chuck Taylors before. Now, it's letting its newbie sneakers enjoy the high-end treatment.
