At Coperni's Fall/Winter 2022 show, its signature Swipe bag looked a little different.

Instead of arriving in its usual colorful leather options, iterations made out of glass graced the runway, and immediately caught everyone's attention.

Made in collaboration with the couple behind Heven, Breanna and Peter, the bags are all hand-blown, crafted both to be worn but also to capture Coperni's signature silhouette as a piece of art.

At the Grammy's, the bag had its first major celebrity moment when Doja Cat walked the red carpet wearing a blue version of the bag, as well as Tinashe wearing the same bag but in a clear red design. Needless to say, the bags stole the show, and instantly made the rounds on social media, with plenty of TikTok's being made explaining the collaboration.

Then, Kylie Jenner wore it and it took things to a whole other level, because as the world's most-followed woman on Instagram, anything you post instantly hits the feed of millions of people worldwide.

At the press day for the upcoming show The Kardashians, Kylie opted for a translucent version of the bag featuring Heven's signature devil horns (modeled by Gigi Hadid in the FW22 show!), putting her own Kylie Cosmetics product on display inside, of course.

As with anything touched by the KarJenner's, the bag instantly went viral once again and is guaranteed to be popping up on the arms of more celebrities within the coming weeks.

It may not be the most functional piece, but at least Kylie proves it still fits a few essentials. It's not like we're used to functional fashion anyway when we've got mini-bags, crop tops, and low-rise jeans in our wardrobes.

It remains to be seen whether the bag's viral presence will result in Coperni's Swipe bag being crowned the next "it bag," as they come in at an affordable price point with multiple sizes available, all retailing under $600 USD.

Anyways, I might just order one now because with Doja Cat, Tinashe, and Kylie Jenner wearing the bag, it will be sold out before we know it.
