Season: SS18 women’s collection
Key Pieces: Python skin tops and bottoms, vibrant cropped shirts and sweaters
Editor’s Notes: After launching its second women’s collection this past December, Amsterdam’s Daily Paper now showcases their third full women’s collection as part of their “Transcend Borders” SS18 campaign.
Captured by Jamal Nxedlana, the range exhibits its aesthetics of afro-futurisms in the coastal city of Cape Town, as the streets of South Africa portray as a stylish backdrop.
The collection explores the idea of transcending expectations and influenced by contemporary African art, as oversized silhouettes, taking the form of trousers, blazers, pullovers and a statement snake-skin set are notable standouts. In addition, activewear pieces with tracksuits, and printed shirts, along with accessories consisting of waistbags, passport bags, wallets and backpack totes round out the entire offering.
If you like what you see, head on over to Daily Paper’s website now for more information, as availability is set for Monday, April 30.
