Dave Chappelle has appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert where, amongst other things, he addressed a comment made about Donald Trump back in November.

As host of Saturday Night Live!, just five days after Trump’s election win, the famously outspoken comedian ended his opening monologue by saying: “I’m wishing Donald Trump luck. And I’m going to give him a chance. And we, the historically disenfranchised, demand that he give us one too.”

When asked by Colbert if he still shared the same sentiment, Chappelle admitted he had changed his mind. “It’s not like I wanted to give him a chance that night,” he said to laughs from the audience. “You know, listen, man, in the last six months, I think we’re all getting an education about the presidency.”
