Dior recently presented its Pre-Fall 2019 menswear collection in Tokyo, Kim Jones' second show for the prestigious house. A lavish spectacle centered around a spectacular sculpture by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama, the show revolved around sci-fi themes, with 1017 ALYX 9SM designer Matthew Williams and AMBUSH's Yoon providing the collection's hardware and jewelry once again.
The utility buckles that Williams has made his design signature were used by Jones across trench coats, boots and combat pants, while Sorayama's work also made its way into the collection. The Japanese artist's futurist work could be seen via shimmering metallic fabrics and futuristic typography.
In the aftermath of Jones's show, Dior also produced a short video interview with Soroyama, which you can watch below.
