Ducati has added the final piece to the puzzle with the latest addition to its lineup: a gleaming and stylish cafe racer edition of the classic Scrambler.
The new Scrambler Cafe Racer sees the iconic all-terrain motorcycle receive a full modern makeover in line with the racer trend of recent years. It features low, clip-on handlebars fitted with bar-end mirrors; a Termignoni exhaust with anodized black covers; a cafe-style humped seat, and a minimalist front fender.
In terms of power, the Cafe Racer's 803cc L-twin air and oil-cooled engine will transfer 75 horsepower at 8,250 rpm (and 50.2 lb-ft of torque at 5,750 rpm) down to the sporty Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires on 17-inch gold wheels. Ducati says the engine provides smoother power delivery and faster throttle response, especially at lower rpm, than ever before.
The Ducati Café Racer is available in "Black Coffee," and goes on sale in April 2017 for a price of $11,395.
Meanwhile, the “Sinister Electric Cafe Racer” looks like it’s from an apocalyptic future.
