Though he may be busy preparing for his debut film to premiere at this year's Sundance Film Festival, Flying Lotus apparently still has plenty of time to work on new music. The electronic music wizard has just unveiled via Twitter that he is close to releasing a collaboration with none other than Anderson .Paak, a fact also confirmed by .Paak himself.

But as exciting as this prospect is, few other details about the meeting of the musical minds exists. The only reason we know about it in the first place is thanks to a random Twitter user prompting the question of a collaboration to Flying Lotus.

It would be safe to assume that this partnership could lead to something on an impending Flying Lotus album, whose last album You're Dead! arrived in 2014. .Paak meanwhile, has had an incredibly busy and productive year, releasing the highly-acclaimed Malibu last January and following it up with a joint album with producer Knxwledge titled Yes Lawd! Stay tuned to see what comes next from these two.

In other music news, Alicia Keys has just dropped a surprise collaboration with none other than producer-of-the-moment Kaytranda. Listen to their smooth sex jam right here.
