At last, jacket season has arrived! Rejoice! After months of humid commutes, difficult outfit decisions, and copious amounts of sweat, it’s finally everyone’s favorite time of the year and I, for one, couldn’t be happier!

Of course, outerwear season also marks the perfect time to invest in a new big cozy coat to celebrate the moment and, as if it were planned, GANNI and Barbour have just revealed a handful of stellar candidates that are set to land online November 3.

Building on their debut collaboration, Copenhagen-based GANNI and Barbour’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection is another fusion of the latter’s signature outerwear pieces with the Danish label’s eye for elevated design.

The result? A selection of GANNI-fied Barbour jackets that, quite frankly, have never been cozier

Take Barbour’s oversized bomber, for instance, which now comes with brushed wool checks and GANNI’s leopard print pattern, or two waxed jackets that now adorn plush collars and removable hoods for FW23.

From the three longline quilted coats to the bucket hat and two check scarves, everything in the GANNI x Barbour collection adopts an equal mix of the two labels' design notes which, in today’s often lackadaisical world of collaborations, is somewhat of a rarity.

“This time we wanted to really continue to value the craftsmanship and added even more joyful elements incorporating our classic leopard print – to me, leopard print is timeless," said Ditte Reffstrup, Creative Director at GANNI.

"We share a genuine commitment to responsibility, which made this collaboration even more meaningful; they are true investment pieces designed to be loved and worn forever. Collaboration is really what gets my beat going.”
