Having worked his way up the Gucci ladder, newly-appointed Creative Director Alessandro Michele proves his passion for individuality with a uniquely quirky 2016 Cruise collection for the iconic Italian label. The brand’s latest lookbook gives a modern take on ’70s-inspired pieces, accompanied by a whimsical, almost Wes Anderson-esque campaign video.

The collection includes a mix of boyish styles made feminine, with patterned sweater vests, to wide-leg denim jeans and pussy-bow shirts recreated in vibrant colors. Modeled by Reid Rohling and Laurie Harding, bold floral prints are teamed back with more subtle tonal pieces for an unusual, innovative take on the vintage look.
