After last year’s Matebook X, Chinese electronic giant Huawei has now unveiled its brand new MateBook X Pro at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, Spain.

Flaunting an attractive design with even thinner bezels, along with powerful hardware updates and intelligent software advances — the MateBook X Pro is the first notebook to incorporate the company’s FullView Display. The 13.9-inch 3K notebook featuring an all-new 10-point touchscreen has a 3000 x 2000 pixel resolution and is set at a 3:2 aspect ratio, while its metallic body composition boasts an ultra-slim body that is just 14.6mm thin and weighs 1.33 kg, or almost 2.9 lbs — making it one of the lightest and most powerful notebooks on the market.

In terms of its interior specs, a powerful 8th Generation Intel Core i7/i5 processor and a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU with 2GB GDDR5 ram powers the device, while also featuring an impressive Dolby Atmos Sound System. In addition, its 57.4Wh battery capacity, and Huawei’s low power consumption design provide up to 12 hours of 1080P video playback, 14 hours of regular work or 15 hours of web browsing.

Other notable features for the MateBook X Pro include a super-fast power button 2.0 with a built-in fingerprint scanner, which enables login in just 7.8 seconds from power off, and 6.6 seconds from hibernation. Additionally, it also includes the world’s first recessed camera which discreetly sits on the keyboard, two USB-C ports, and one USB-A port.

Offered two classic colors, “Space Gray” and “Mystic Silver,” availability for the Huawei MateBook X Pro begins this spring and priced at 1,499 euros ($1842 USD).
