Apple has just released new Smart Battery Cases designed for the 2018 iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR. Rendered in colors of black or white only, each Smart Battery Case retails for $129, and it's designed to add extra battery life to the iPhone.

In terms of its design, the cases sport a bump on the back to house a battery pack, and similarly styled to previous battery case options that Apple offered for the iPhone 7.

Additionally, each case provides a certain amount of battery life depending on device. In particular, the iPhone XS Battery Case, paired with the iPhone XS, offers up to 33 hours of talk time, up to 21 hours of internet use, and up to 25 hours of video playback.

Compared to the iPhone XS Max with the XS Max Smart Battery Case, it offers up to 37 hours of talk time, up to 20 hours of internet use, and 25 hours of video playback. Lastly, the iPhone XR with the XR Battery Case provides 39 hours of talk time, 22 hours of internet use, and up to 27 hours of video playback.
