The Jacob & Co. x Highsnobiety collaboration has arrived and it sees the iconic jeweler switch from making lavish jewelry to graphic hoodies and homeware. Having created custom pieces for the stars, counting everyone from Justin Timberlake to Jay Z as regular customers, this marks the first time that Jacob the Jeweler has expanded into fashion and lifestyle products.
The collection consists of 20 co-branded items, but a personal highlight is the varsity jackets. A staple in the New York hip-hop scene and streetwear culture that Jacob is tied to, the American baseball jacket is the outerwear of choice for many celebrities when rocking Jacob's extravagant jewelry.

Taking that history into account, it was only right that we include a collaborative varsity jacket (or two) in our collection.
Much of the Jacob & Co. x Highsnobiety collection focuses on one of the label's trademark timepieces, the quartz-powered Five Time Zone watch. The iconic design which has been on the wrists of everyone from Drake to Ronaldinho was modeled by Ian Isiah for the collection lookbook.
Our selection of varsity jackets continues to focus on the wristwatch, re-interpreting our favorite elements of the design into embroidered patches that sit where a baseball team's iconography would traditionally be found.

Two different varsity jackets are part of our collection, the first features a navy blue body embroidered with collaborative branding on either chest and on the back. True to traditional varsity jacket designs, the sleeves are crafted from cream leather with the right sleeve having four colorful shapes from the Five Time Zone watch embroidered on the bottom and the left sleeve including all of the time zones that the shapes represent.
For its all-black counterpart, the entire watch face from the iconic design is re-interpreted and embroidered to the right chest while those same four shapes are run along the right sleeve.
