Yesterday iconic New York venue Webster Hall re-opened after nearly two years of renovations. JAY-Z performed a show called “B-Sides 2” to celebrate opening night.

Hov performed a new freestyle, rapping, “Gentrify your own hood, before these people do it / Claim eminent domain and have your people movin’ / That’s a small glimpse into what Nipsey was doing / For anybody that’s still confused as to what he was doing.” He was a staunch supporter of Nipsey Hussle’s entrepreneurialism and of what Rolling Stone called, their “shared vision of empathetic and ethical black capitalism.” Watch the freestyle below.

He then brought out Nas to perform the latter’s 1994 track “The World Is Yours,” and Cam’ron for “I Really Mean It.” Watch the clips of the performance below.
