“I’m typically in a more adventurous frame of mind when working on collaborations as the product is deserving of new ideas,” says Elliott. “I wanted this collaboration to have the Suicoke DNA while utilizing hardware that carried over from the John Elliott collection.”
The closed-toe silhouette thus welcomes quick release magnetic Fidlock closures at the ankle, a design element originally featured on fighter pilot helmets. The sandal boasts cowhide on the exterior and shearling on the lining, finished with twin adjustable neoprene ankle straps and Suicoke’s white rubber outsole.
John Elliott and Suicoke’s FW18 sandal is available beginning today in three colorways — black, ivory, and cow print — each retailing for $298.
