Editor’s Notes: Parisian accessories brand, Côte&Ciel, has teamed up with JohnUNDERCOVER (Founded by UNDERCOVER’s Jun Takahashi) for an exclusive collection of four Isar backpacks.

Takahashi returns to offer his take on the Isar backpack, with its intriguing silhouette simultaneously practical and alien. The Japanese designer has seamlessly combined a futuristic aesthetic with functionality and comfort. Notably, all four bags are made from EcoYarn in black or black mélange (grey). EcoYarn is a hardwearing, practical fabric, and is one of the signature materials used by Côte&Ciel.

In line with JohnUNDERCOVER’s graphic-heavy SS19 collection, the backpacks feature printed quotes. Two of the designs also feature large, sportswear-style appliqué lettering, which can also be seen plastered across other pieces from the offering.
