We've been fed a lie. Jon Stewart hasn't retired from late night talk shows, he's merely living under Stephen Colbert's table — or at least, he shows up whenever his old pals at Comedy Central call him in for a new segment.
Appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for a second time since Trump became president, Stewart addressed the media following its high-profile "breakup" with The Donald when Sean Spicer banned reporters from CNN, The New York Times, Politico, the Los Angeles Times and BuzzFeed from a White House briefing.
“I heard Donald Trump broke up with you. Stings a little, doesn’t it?" Stewart said. "You finally thought you’d met your match: a blabbermouth who’s as thin-skinned and narcissistic as you are. Well, now it’s over! Well, good riddance, I say. Kick. Him. To. The. Curb.” Watch the full clip above.
After you've finished, watch Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel explain what really happened during the "Best Picture" blunder below.
