Jonathan Anderson is here alongside Converse for a new collaboration that blurs the lines between high fashion and street style. Per Anderson, the joint effort is a labor of love, referred to as “Simply_Complex.”

In focusing on materialization, we see the designer taking on Converse’s Chuck 70 and Thunderbolt silhouettes.

“We approached it as a sneaker first but introduced detailed elements and the suede execution that make it a sort of curious version of Chuck, ultimately constructing the silhouette as a statement shoe,” Anderson says of the Chuck 70. “For me, they are perfect with chinos, jeans and a white T-shirt.”

The Chuck 70 and the Chuck 70 XX Hi in turn welcome suede on the outside and leather on the inside, while the Thunderbolt boasts an asymmetrical approach, in two colorways.

You can look for the new JW Anderson x Converse collaboration to arrive March 2 on converse.com, j-w-anderson.com, and at JW Anderson stores and select retailers globally.
