Lil Pump has come forward to apologize for a video that many found offensive and derogatory towards the Asian community. The video in question previewed an upcoming track titled "Butterfly Doors," which features several instances of inappropriate terminology, including lyrics such as “Smokin’ on dope/ They call me Yao Ming ‘cause my eyes real low ching chong.”

With a caption imploring us to "spread love," Pump has addressed the controversial video: “I came here to tell you from my part that I’m sorry and I apologize for posting that. It was not my intentions to hurt nobody or do none of that.” See his full statement below.

Since releasing the teaser, a diss track has already emerged lashing out at Lil Pump from Chinese rapper Lil Yijie. It is, aptly, titled "FXXX LIL PUMP.” Stream it below.
