Reebok has enlisted rising U.K. artist Mahalia for their latest Reebok Classics campaign. The singer-songwriter made a major splash with her COLORS Berlin appearance, and since then has linked up with the likes of Little Simz and Kojey Radical. Featured in the brand’s latest campaign for their Rapide sneaker – a model that originally made its debut in the ’90s.
“Reebok has always been a go-to brand for me and I’m so excited to be fronting the new Reebok campaign. Classics has such a strong style heritage and it has always has a unique connection to music and style.” Mahalia said, “I love the Rapide in particular as it’s a trainer that seamlessly blends two style defining eras, tapping into the bold style of the ’90s whilst remaining really current for today’s street-style.”
As for the sneaker, it’s complete with lightweight nylon mesh that provides flexibility and airflow, the upper features synthetic micro-suede which adds secure structural overlays and eye-catching detail. Exposed EVA midsoles add comfort whilst throwing some old school charm into the mix.
